Programmi e progetti in corso nel Parco Archeologico dell’Appia Antica

The contribution illustrates the projects and new challenges of the Appia Antica Archaeological Park, an independent Institute of the Italian Ministry of Culture, invested with the important role of protecting and enhancing a vast territorial area enclosed between via Appia and Via Latina. The presentation shows the activities that have been carried out in the park in recent years and post-pandemic, illustrating the numerous enhancement activities, restorations and new discoveries, the musical and theatrical events, the institutional projects, such as the UnESCO WHL inscription proposal and the new challenges connected with URBS and CAPUT MUNDI projects.
