We kindly ask all members who have paid the membership fee for 2005 (and thus have the right to vote) to approve the changes of the AIAC statute.

The changes were asked for and approved by the council in order to make the the association more efficient.

You will find below the new and the old text in both English and Italian; you can find the old text on our web site, in the section "AIAC". Please send your approval with an e-mail to segreteria@aiac.org or in a letter. Your approval is important (Statute, 18): otherwise we will not be able to proceed with the election of the new council.

We ask you to send your approval not later than January the 27th. With this same message, the Council ask your permission to abbreviate the time for the vote from 30 to 15 days (Statute, 9). The votes will be counted on January the 31st.

The aims of the revision are to permit the re-election of the members of the council more than once, to simplify the text and adapt it to today’s reality (for example, not having each new member approved by the council and the assembly) and to adapt it, where necessary, to modern Italian law.
